Sales consulting
Without sales your business is going precisely nowhere. But fear not, help is at hand. I can help to develop your sales strategy, processes, tools, coach you and your team and even supplement your team as an extra sales resource to develop a particular market.
Social entrepreneurship
Close to half of all social enterprises are five years old or less. One third are three years old or less – more than three times the proportion of SME startups. In terms of new business formation in the UK, social enterprise is where it's at. I've advised, mentored and trained hundreds of social ventures.
Business strategy
People may spend their whole lives climbing the ladder of success only to find, once they reach the top, that the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall.” - Thomas Merton.
I can work with you to brainstorm, capture, optimise and stress-test your strategy.

ABOUT MARK
I’ve spent most of my career working in semiconductor and software businesses including co-founding a VC-funded startup, running my own technology sales company and multi-million dollar sales teams. I’m a business advisor for Cambridge Social Ventures, part of the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School and act as a consultant, advisor and non-executive director for startups, social ventures and tech companies.
I arrived in Cambridge by mistake some thirty years ago and have been here ever since. A friend told me that Cambridge is unusual in that people are valued not by what they own, but by what they think. I’m always happy to share ideas and find better ways to make in a positive impact in the world.
